GSYSL is committed to improving EDP the Early Development Player Program.

Beginning fall of 2013 the U8 & U9 EDP will include Festivals, Training and Skills Clinic for Coaches, and No Referees

U9's

The following changes will be introduced to the program.
  • There will be 1 - 2 Festival Days for the U9's
  • Festival sites will be regionalized on specific weekends with a festival in the eastern part of the state and a festival in the central part of the state.
  • Festival will consist of an AM or PM session to include Coach & Player Skill Clinics and a 2-3 abreviated game schedule
  • In addition to the festivals the league schedule will consist of 8 games (4 Home & 4 Away)


Festival dates will be scheduled the 3rd weekend of the season and the 5th or 6th weekend of the season

EDP U7/8's

  • EDP U7/8's Program will continue this Fall. The schedule will include 2-3 Festival Dates (teams will play 2-3 games on these dates and will include Coaching and Player Clinics) and the regular schedule will include 2 home games and 2 away games.
    While this is a change, please give this program a chance and help support the league build a foundation for soccer families in NH.
  • The Festival dates are TBA and the location will be in Amesbury.
  • Clubs, Coaches and Parents the changes being made to the EDP U7/8 Program are focused on the Education of players, coach's and parents to enhance the "soccer experience" for all.
  • While this is a change, please give this program a chance and help support the league build a foundation for soccer families in NH.

Alternative sites will be considered HOWEVER specific requirements must be met to hold and support these events
