The GSYSL Board has made one change for the upcoming Spring Season 2011.
Senior Division Game Length: All Senior Division Games have been changed to 45 minute halves. The reason for the change was to make these games available for Referee Upgrade Games which require a full 90 minute match. Under league rules all Senior Division matches will consist of 45 minute halves - 90 minute match, however if a game is NOT being used as an "Upgrade Game" coach's may agree to play an abbreviated game consisting of TWO equal halves. If the coach's agree, they must notify the referee prior to kickoff. The League Assignor will notify the coaches of any game being used for "upgrade purposes".
